Electrical Upgrades; Undergrounding of Electric, Phone & Cable. Developer acknowledges City’s plan to underground its electric facilities in the area, including along Water Street and Main Street, and that this will necessitate the burying of telephone and cable lines attached to City poles. Developer acknowledges that any costs in connection with the undergrounding of City’s electric facilities, telephone and /or cable shall be the Developer’s expense. Developer will perform the actual undergrounding of the City’s electrical system under City’s direction, and be reimbursed for the of-site electrical work (but not including the telephone and cable undergrounding if those entities cannot be required to assume the costs themselves) according to the terms of this agreement for the reimbursement for governmental improvements. City agrees to use reasonable efforts to enforce any franchise or other agreement it may have with the owner/operator of such telephone or cable systems to require those entities to either complete the undergrounding of their own system in coordination with the construction of the Project, and for them to assume the costs or reimburse Developer for those costs if they choose to have Developer undertake the work, but shall not be required to initiate legal action to do so. The City agrees to review Xxxxxxxxx’s plans for its electrical work, including undergrounding of the electric lines in a reasonable time.

  • Electrical Equipment Residents must use only CSA, UL-approved or Canadian-certified electrical equipment; the rated wattage of light fixtures must never be exceeded; and only replacement bulbs supplied by Waterloo maintenance staff may be used. Do not leave any unattended electrical equipment turned on (i.e. hair straighteners, lights etc.)

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.

  • Local Circuit Switching Capability, including Tandem Switching Capability 4.2.1 Local circuit switching capability is defined as: (A) line-side facilities, which include, but are not limited to, the connection between a loop termination at a main distribution frame and a switch line card; (B) trunk-side facilities, which include, but are not limited to, the connection between trunk termination at a trunk-side cross-connect panel and a switch trunk card; (C) switching provided by remote switching modules; and (D) all features, functions, and capabilities of the switch, which include, but are not limited to: (1) the basic switching function of connecting lines to lines, line to trunks, trunks to lines, and trunks to trunks, as well as the same basic capabilities made available to BellSouth’s customers, such as a telephone number, white page listings, and dial tone; and (2) all other features that the switch is capable of providing, including but not limited to customer calling, customer local area signaling service features, and Centrex, as well as any technically feasible customized routing functions provided by the switch. Any features that are not currently available but are technically feasible through the switch can be requested through the BFR/NBR process.
