Common use of Electronic Professional Responsibility Workload Report Forms Clause in Contracts

Electronic Professional Responsibility Workload Report Forms. (a) The parties agree to use the electronic version of the Professional Responsibility Workload Report Form (PRWRF) at Appendix 3. (b) The parties agree that hard copies of the electronic PRWRF are valid for purposes of Article 9 of the Agreement. (c) Electronic PRWRFs may be sent, via email, to the applicable manager or designate. (d) The electronic signature of the Union Executive representative or Labour Relations Officer will be accepted as the original signature. (e) The union undertakes to get a copy of the electronic version signed by the employee(s). (f) The parties agree to not use or rely upon any preliminary arguments related to the use of the electronic version should a PRWRF proceed to an Independent Assessment Committee as per Article 9.01. (a) Employees are expected, as part of their regular duties, to provide leadership, supervision, guidance and advice to members of the health care team. The parties agree that discipline of all bargaining unit and non-bargaining unit employees of the Home is the responsibility of management. Nothing in this clause amends, modifies or clarifies any interpretation under Article 2 (Recognition), nor does it prejudice the employees' continued membership in the bargaining unit or the employee's entitlement to qualify and receive benefits under Article 20.03 (Charge Pay). (b) Nurses may be required, as part of their regular duties, to supervise activities of nurses working with a temporary certificate of registration in accordance with the current College of Nurses of Ontario Standards. In circumstances where the Home hires a nurse with a temporary certificate of registration, the Director of Care or designate shall provide every nurse who is responsible to work with the temporary registrant with the College of Nurses limitations/restrictions on her practice.
