ARTICLE P – VIOLENCE IN THE WORKPLACE. P-1 (a) Definition of Violence The Employer agrees that no form of verbal, physical, sexual, racial or other abuse which may cause physical or psychological injury or that gives a person reason to believe that s/he or another person is at risk of physical and or psychological injury will be condoned in the workplace. Any employee who believes the situation to be abusive shall report this to the immediate supervisor who will take every precaution reasonable to rectify the abusive situation.

ARTICLE P – VIOLENCE IN THE WORKPLACE. P-1 The Employer agrees to continue policies and procedures to deal with violence in the workplace. The policies address the prevention of violence, the management of violent situations and support to employees who have faced violence. Said policies and procedures are to be reviewed and addressed at the Hospital- Association Committee as necessary.
ARTICLE P – VIOLENCE IN THE WORKPLACE. P.01 (a) Violence shall be defined as any incident in which a Nurse is abused, either physically or verbally, threatened or assaulted during the course of their employment. The Hospital agrees that these incidents will not be condoned in the workplace. Any Nurse who believes their situation was abusive shall report this to their immediate supervisor who will make every reasonable effort to rectify the situation.
ARTICLE P – VIOLENCE IN THE WORKPLACE. P-1 The Parties agree that a safe workplace, free of violence and harassment, is a fundamental principle of a healthy workplace. Commitment to a healthy workplace requires a high degree of cooperation between the employer, employees, physician and the Union. Employees should feel empowered to report incidents of disruptive behaviour, including physician behaviour, without fear of retaliation. The parties are both committed to a harassment free environment and recognize issues in a timely and effective manner as set out below:
ARTICLE P – VIOLENCE IN THE WORKPLACE. P-1 (a) The Employer and the Association agree that abusive conduct in the workplace which causes or may cause injury to nurses will not be condoned. In this regard, nurses shall collaborate with the Employer and Association. A nurse who believes a situation to be abusive shall promptly report this to his/her direct supervisor or designate for investigation and follow up as soon as is practicable.
ARTICLE P – VIOLENCE IN THE WORKPLACE. P.1 (a) The Hospital will notify the Union of any nurse who has been injured while on Hospital property because of a physical assault within four (4) days of the hospital becoming aware of the injury. Violence shall be defined as any incident in which a nurse is abused, threatened or assaulted during the course of his/her employment. It includes the application of force, threats with or without weapons and severe verbal abuse. The Hospital agrees that such incidents will not be condoned. Any nurse who believes he/she has been subjected to such incident shall report this to a supervisor who will make every reasonable effort to rectify the situation.
ARTICLE P – VIOLENCE IN THE WORKPLACE. P.1 (a) Violence Policies and Procedures The Hospital agrees to develop, in consultation with the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee, formalized explicit policies and procedures to deal with violence. The policy will address the prevention of workplace violence, the management of violent situations, and support to Nurses who have faced violence. The Policy and Procedures shall be part of The Nurses’ health and safety policy and written copies shall be provided to each Nurse at time of hire. Prior to implementing any changes to these policies, the Hospital agrees to consult with the Joint Health and Safety Committee.

  • Convicted, Discriminatory, Antitrust Violator, and Suspended Vendor Lists In accordance with sections 287.133, 287.134, and 287.137, F.S., the Contractor is hereby informed of the provisions of sections 287.133(2)(a), 287.134(2)(a), and 287.137(2)(a), F.S. For purposes of this Contract, a person or affiliate who is on the Convicted Vendor List, the Discriminatory Vendor List, or the Antitrust Violator Vendor List may not perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under the Contract. The Contractor must notify the Department if it or any of its suppliers, subcontractors, or consultants have been placed on the Convicted Vendor List, the Discriminatory Vendor List, or the Antitrust Violator Vendor List during the term of the Contract. In accordance with section 287.1351, F.S., a vendor placed on the Suspended Vendor List may not enter into or renew a contract to provide any goods or services to an agency after its placement on the Suspended Vendor List. A firm or individual placed on the Suspended Vendor List pursuant to section 287.1351, F.S., the Convicted Vendor List pursuant to section 287.133, F.S., the Antitrust Violator Vendor List pursuant to section 287.137, F.S., or the Discriminatory Vendor List pursuant to section 287.134, F.S., is immediately disqualified from Contract eligibility.
