Elementary Staff Preparation Time. Preparation time for elementary staff shall be provided daily in one or two uninterrupted blocks during the student day. Blocks shall be in increments of not less than 30 minutes. Preparation time shall be provided to elementary teachers such that the average student contact time per day for elementary teachers shall be comparable to the average contact time for secondary teachers.
