Eligibility for Excused Absence. With the exception of emergency conditions, an employee must be in duty status at the beginning and/or end of a period of excused absence in order to receive benefit of the excused time. If operational requirements preclude an employee from receiving the full amount of excused absence authorized in this Section for a specific purpose, the remaining time is not available for future use by the employee.

  • Eligibility for Leave All regular full-time employees shall be eligible for paid leave. Further, all regular part-time employees shall receive paid leave on a ration of paid leave time accrued to the number of hours worked in the work week.
