Common use of Emergency Callout Clause in Contracts

Emergency Callout. (a) Except as provided in Clause 5.3 and 5.4, an employee reporting for work at the call of the City at any time other than regular working hours, shall be paid at the rate of two (2) times his/her regular straight-time hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work in response to the call, with a minimum of three (3) hours at the rate of two (2) times his/her regular straight-time hourly rate of pay.
