Emergency Cash Call. (a) If at any time the Manager is, or is likely to be, required to take urgent action under clause 8.9 which requires funds in excess of the funds then available to the Manager, and which have not been provided for in the most recent Cash Call, the Manager may issue an emergency Cash Call to each Participant stating: (i) the amount of funds required for Costs; (ii) the Called Sum required to be paid by each Participant; (iii) the place or places where, and manner in which, payment is to be made; and (iv) the circumstances, in reasonable detail, giving rise to the necessity for obtaining such funds. (b) Subject to clause 9.6, each Participant must, as soon as practicable (and in any event within five Business Days) after receipt of an emergency Cash Call, pay to the Manager the Called Sum applicable to it. (c) The parties acknowledge that clause 9.3(a) does not apply to any Cash Calls made under this clause 9.8.

Emergency Cash Call. (1) If at any time the Service Provider is, or is likely to be, required to take urgent action under section 9.8 which requires funds in excess of the funds then available to the Service Provider, and which have not been provided for in the most recent Cash Notice, the Service Provider may issue an emergency Cash Call to each Participating Group stating: (i) the amount of funds required for Costs; (ii) the Called Sum required to be paid by each Participating Group; (iii) the place or places where, and manner in which, payment is to be made; and (iv) the circumstances, in reasonable detail, giving rise to the necessity for obtaining such funds. (2) Each Participating Group must, as soon as practicable (and in any event within five Business Days) after receipt of an emergency Cash Call, pay to the relevant JV Company the Called Sum applicable to it. (3) The Parties acknowledge that section 10.4 does not apply to any Cash Calls made under this section 10.5 but the Service Provider will endeavour to estimate the expected Cash Call requirements under this section 10.5 as soon as practicable.

(b) Each Participant must, as soon as practicable (and in any event within five (5) Business Days) after receipt of an emergency Cash Call, pay to the Manager the Called Sum applicable to it. (c) The parties acknowledge that clause 8.3(a) does not apply to any Cash Calls made under this clause 8.5.

  • Emergency Calls IP Phones need an additional power supply to operate. In the event of a power failure it is your responsibility to ensure you have the means to make emergency calls. In accordance with paragraph 13.2, we will not be liable for any loss or damage (financial or otherwise) where you fail to do so.

  • Emergency Call-In When an employee is called in to perform unanticipated extra work, and the work is not an extension of his normal workday, he shall be compensated for the hours worked. Such compensation shall be for a minimum of four (4) hours in the event the employee works less than this amount of time.   • Emergency Closing 1. Management shall decide when, if and to what extent State facilities shall remain open or closed during emergencies, such as adverse weather conditions, acts of God, equipment breakdown, inoperable bathroom facilities, extreme office temperatures, etc. 2. The State shall designate one (1) person in each district area who will be responsible to call the Secretary of Administration or his/her designee if office, weather or other conditions exist which suggest closing is appropriate. 3. In facilities that must remain in operation despite emergency conditions, continued operations with a reduced work force may be authorized. In such instances, employees who are authorized to leave work early may do so without loss of pay or benefits. Employees who are required to remain at work shall receive compensatory time at straight time rates. 4. An employee who is unable to report to work due to weather or other emergency conditions shall have the absence charged against accumulated compensatory time or annual leave, in that order. 5. If management authorizes the complete closing of a State office or facility for emergency reasons, employees who leave the workplace shall receive their regular pay for time they are out of the closed office. 6. Employees required by management to work during complete emergency closings under (5) above, shall receive hourly pay at straight time rates for the hours so worked. This payment will be in addition to the employee’s regular pay.

  • Interconnection Customer Compensation for Actions During Emergency Condition The CAISO shall compensate the Interconnection Customer in accordance with the CAISO Tariff for its provision of real and reactive power and other Emergency Condition services that the Interconnection Customer provides to support the CAISO Controlled Grid during an Emergency Condition in accordance with Article 11.6.

  • Emergency Closure Where there is a temporary closure as a result of an immediate emergency or a planned temporary closure due to renovations, repairs, or moves, the Employer will: a) First offer to the affected employees the choice of taking either a vacation day or an unpaid leave of absence with no loss of seniority or benefits; thereafter, at the Employer's discretion, one of the following: b) Reassign staff to another location; c) Reschedule the lost hours within two (2) pay periods; or d) Decide not to do either (b) or (c), in which case employees shall still be paid for their regularly scheduled hours which they did not work as a result of the temporary layoff.

  • Emergency Closings In the event a student day or teacher duty day is lost because of an emergency closing, the teacher shall perform duties on that day (unless hazardous conditions prohibit) or other such day in lieu thereof as the School Board or its designated representative shall determine, if any.

  • Emergency/Declared Disaster Requirements In the event of an emergency or if Orange County is declared a disaster area by the County, state or federal government, this Contract may be subjected to unusual usage. The Contractor shall service the County during such an emergency or declared disaster under the same terms and conditions that apply during non-emergency/disaster conditions. The pricing quoted by the Contractor shall apply to serving the County’s needs regardless of the circumstances. If the Contractor is unable to supply the goods/services under the terms of the Contract, then the Contractor shall provide proof of such disruption and a copy of the invoice for the goods/services from the Contractor’s supplier(s). Additional profit margin as a result of supplying goods/services during an emergency or a declared disaster shall not be permitted. In the event of an emergency or declared disaster, emergency purchase order numbers will be assigned. All applicable invoices from the Contractor shall show both the emergency purchase order number and the Contract number.

  • Emergency Room Services This plan covers services received in a hospital emergency room when needed to stabilize or initiate treatment in an emergency. If your condition needs immediate or urgent, but non-emergency care, contact your PCP or use an urgent care center. This plan covers bandages, crutches, canes, collars, and other supplies incidental to your treatment in the emergency room as part of our allowance for the emergency room services. Additional services provided in the emergency room such as radiology or physician consultations are covered separately from emergency room services and may require additional copayments. The amount you pay is based on the type of service being rendered. Follow-up care services, such as suture removal, fracture care or wound care, received at the emergency room will require an additional emergency room copayment. Follow- up care services can be obtained from your primary care provider or a specialist. See Dental Services in Section 3 for information regarding emergency dental care services.

  • Emergency Mode Operation Plan Contractor must establish a documented plan to enable continuation of critical business processes and protection of the security of electronic County PHI or PI in the event of an emergency. Emergency means any circumstance or situation that causes normal computer operations to become unavailable for use in performing the work required under this Agreement for more than twenty-four (24) hours.
