Emergency/Natural Disaster. In the event of an emergency or natural disaster, the contractor shall make available, to the maximum extent possible, transportation and communications services and facilities to assist the city in ameliorating such incidents. To the extent the city requires the contractor to provide such emergency services and facilities, contractor shall be relieved of the obligation to fulfill the duties and responsibilities to operate services herein above contained. Furthermore, the contractor shall be entitled to be paid reasonable compensation for providing such emergency services and facilities, provided however, that amount of such compensation and time of the its payment shall be mutually agreed upon by the contractor and the city following the conclusion of the emergency or disaster, or at such other times as they mutually agree.

Emergency/Natural Disaster. In the event of an unforeseeable cause beyond the control of the College, including but not limited to incidents of force majeure, fire, war, acts of terrorism, acts of God, pandemics or other health emergencies declared by the College, the College may terminate this contract without prior notice. In no event shall the College be obliged to provide alternate housing or to rebuild or replace any affected property. If the College terminates this contract for any of the reasons noted above, the room fee will be refunded according to the established refund policy.

  • Catastrophic Leave - Natural Disaster Upon request of an employee and upon approval of a department director or designee, leave credits (CTO, vacation, personal leave, annual leave, personal day, and/or holiday credit) shall be transferred from one or more employees to another employee, in accordance with departmental policies, under the following conditions:

  • NATURAL DISASTER LEAVE 30.1 Where a permanent employee is unable to attend work because of a natural disaster, ie bushfire or flood, they will be entitled to be paid ordinary pay for the shift they would otherwise have worked on that day.   • Emergency Situation In the event of an emergency situation beyond our reasonable control, such as an "act of God," war, fire, or natural disaster, services involving your account could be available only in a modified or reduced form or could be entirely unavailable. Unless expressly prohibited by applicable law, you agree that we will have no liability to you for such modification, reduction, or unavailability of services caused by an emergency situation.

  • Emergency Services Leave 6.17.1 Subject to operational requirements, paid leave of absence shall be granted by the Employer to an Employee who is an active volunteer member of State Emergency Service, St Xxxx Ambulance Brigade, Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service, Xxxx Fire Brigades, Volunteer Marine Rescue Services Groups or FESA Units, in order to allow for attendances at emergencies as declared by the recognised authority.
