Employee Check In. Check-in procedures will be implemented to ensure the safety of all employees who work alone. The Employer will assess the degree of risk in any workplace where an employee is required to work alone. The Employer must develop and implement a written procedure for checking the well-being of a worker assigned to work alone or in isolation under conditions which present a risk of disabling injury, if the worker is not able to secure assistance in the event of injury or other misfortune. The assessment will be reviewed by the Joint Safety and Health Committee.
