Employee Coverage. For employee dental coverage, the Employer contributes an amount equal to the lesser of ninety percent (90%) of the employee premium of the State Dental Plan, or the actual employee premium of the dental plan chosen by the employee. However, for calendar years beginning January 1, 2019, the minimum employee contribution shall be thirteen dollars and fifty cents ($13.50) per month.
Employee Coverage. For employee health coverage for the 2018 and 2019 plan years, the Employer contributes an amount equal to ninety-five percent (95%) of the employee-only premium of the Minnesota Advantage Health Plan (Advantage).

If the employee chooses a plan other than the Base Dental Plan, the employee’s cost will be the standard employee rate established for that plan (i.e., the rate applicable where it has not been modified to be a zone’s Base Dental Plan). The employer shall pay the rate over and above the employee’s cost for the Base Dental Plan.
