Common use of EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING Clause in Contracts

EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING. MainePERS will post or circulate information within MainePERS concerning career enhancement opportunities and training and development activities. An employee will be provided with up to two (2) days of paid leave per year for the purpose of training and development, provided that, in MainePERS’ reasonable judgment, such training will be beneficial to MainePERS’ operational needs, and the program fits within MainePERS budget guidelines.
