Employee Request for Hearing. Disciplined employees who are eligible to be heard may file a request for hearing by the Commission to appeal the disciplinary action. The request for hearing must be received in writing in the Civil Service Human Resources Department within ten calendar days from the date of the disciplinary action, and must describe the alleged breach of disciplinary rules and procedures by management.
