Common use of Employee Sick Bank Clause in Contracts

Employee Sick Bank. A procedure is established for employees to donate leave days to a sick bank for the use by employees who suffer a personal catastrophic illness or injury, who have exhausted their paid leave days, are not yet eligible to receive long term disability benefits, are not otherwise compensated by other insurance or workers’ disability benefits for time off work, and are granted sick bank days by a sick bank panel.
