Common use of EMPLOYEE SIGNATURES Clause in Contracts

EMPLOYEE SIGNATURES. No information reflecting critically upon an employee except notices of discharge shall be placed in the employee’s official personnel file that does not bear the signature of the employee. Employees shall be advised that an employee’s signature confirms only that management has discussed and given a copy of this material to the employee. The employee’s signature does not indicate agreement of disagreement with the contents of the material. If an employee is not available within seven (7) working days or refuses to sign the material, the Employer may place the material in the file. Under these circumstances it will treated as though the employee did receive the material. The Employer shall place notice in the file that the Employee was unavailable or refused to sign.
