EMPLOYER AND UNION TO ACQUAINT NEW EMPLOYEES.
(a) At the time of hire new employees will be advised that a collective agreement is in effect and of the conditions of employment set out in the articles dealing with Union Security and Dues Check-off.
(b) A new employee shall also be provided with:
(1) the name, location and work telephone number of the xxxxxxx; and
(2) an authorization form for union dues check-off.
(c) Upon request, the xxxxxxx shall be advised of the name, location and work telephone number of the new employee.
(d) The xxxxxxx will be given an opportunity to interview each new employee within regular working hours, without loss of pay, for 15 minutes sometime during the first 30 days of employment.
(e) The Union will provide the Employer with an up-to-date list of stewards' names, work locations and work telephone numbers in order that the Employer may meet its obligation in (b)(1) above.
(f) The Union will be provided with a copy of the completed and signed authorization form for dues check-off for all new employees.

The Employer agrees to acquaint new employees with the fact that a Collective Agreement is in effect and with the conditions of employment set out in the articles dealing with Union Security and Dues Check-off. A new employee shall be advised of the name and location of his/her xxxxxxx. The employee's immediate supervisor will introduce him/her to his/her xxxxxxx who will provide the employee with a copy of the Collective Agreement. The Employer agrees that a Union xxxxxxx will be given an opportunity to interview each new employee within regular working hours, without loss of pay, for fifteen (15) minutes sometime during the first thirty (30) days of employment for the purpose of acquainting the new employee with the benefits and duties of Union membership and the employee's obligations to the Employer and the Union.

Where the Employer conducts a group orientation for new employees, the meeting with the xxxxxxx may take place during the orientation. Such meetings shall not exceed 30 minutes. Stewards will be given at least 24 hours’ notice of the meeting. Stewards shall be compensated for such meetings in accordance with Article 7.5(b) (Union/Management Committee).
(e) The Union will provide the Employer with an up-to-date list of stewards' names, work locations and work telephone numbers (if applicable) in order that the Employer may meet its obligation in (b)(1) above.
(f) The Employer will make reasonable efforts to provide space for a xxxxxxx to meet with a new member.
EMPLOYER AND UNION TO ACQUAINT NEW EMPLOYEES. The Employer agrees to acquaint new employees with the fact that a Collective Agreement is in effect and with the conditions of employment set out in the articles dealing with Union Security and Dues Check-off. A new employee shall be advised of the name and location of his Xxxxxxx. Whenever the Xxxxxxx is employed in the same work area as the new employee, the employee's immediate supervisor will introduce him to his Xxxxxxx, who will provide the employee with a copy of the Collective Agreement. The Employer agrees that a Union Xxxxxxx will be given an opportunity to interview each new employee within regular working hours, without loss of pay, for fifteen (15) minutes sometime during the first ten (10) days of employment for the purpose of acquainting the new employee with the benefits and duties of Union membership and the employee's responsibilities and obligations to the Employer and the Union. Where possible, all new employees within a work group shall be oriented by the Xxxxxxx during a single meeting.
EMPLOYER AND UNION TO ACQUAINT NEW EMPLOYEES. The Employer agrees to acquaint new employees with the fact that a collective agreement is in effect and with the conditions of employment set out in the articles dealing with union security and dues check-off. A new employee shall be introduced to their shop xxxxxxx who shall provide them with a copy of the Collective Agreement. The Employer agrees that the xxxxxxx shall be given an opportunity to interview each new employee within regular working hours, without loss of pay, for sixty (60) minutes sometime during the employee's first day at work for the purpose of acquainting the new employee with the benefits and duties of union membership and the employee's responsibilities and obligations to the Employer and the Union.
EMPLOYER AND UNION TO ACQUAINT NEW EMPLOYEES. The Employer agrees that a shop xxxxxxx will be given an opportunity to meet with new employees during the orientation process without loss of pay, for up to 15 minutes in order to provide employees with the Assignment of Wages form and to acquaint the new employees with the duties of union membership.
EMPLOYER AND UNION TO ACQUAINT NEW EMPLOYEES. The Employer agrees to acquaint new employees with the fact that a collective agreement is in effect and with the conditions of employment set out in the articles dealing with Union Security and Dues Check-off. The Employer shall provide the employee with a pamphlet detailing the benefit package provided by the Health and Welfare Plans.
EMPLOYER AND UNION TO ACQUAINT NEW EMPLOYEES. The Employer shall acquaint all new employees of the fact that a Collective Agreement is in effect and introduce all new employees to the xxxxxxx, so that the xxxxxxx may present a copy of the Collective Agreement to the new employee. This introduction shall usually take place during the first five (5) days of employment of all new employees.
EMPLOYER AND UNION TO ACQUAINT NEW EMPLOYEES. The Employer agrees to acquaint new employees with the fact that a Collective Agreement is in effect and with the conditions of employment set out in the Articles dealing with Union security and dues check-off. A new employee shall be introduced to his/her shop xxxxxxx who will provide him/her with a copy of the Collective Agreement. The Employer agrees that the xxxxxxx will be given an opportunity to interview each new employee within regular working hours, without loss of pay, for fifteen (15) minutes sometime during his/her first day at work for the purpose of acquainting the new employee with the benefits and duties of Union membership and the employee's responsibilities and obligations to the Employer and the Union. Notwithstanding the above, the Employer will allow a xxxxxxx to schedule a one (1) hour meeting without loss of pay, to orientate six (6) or more new employees, within thirty (30) days of hiring, for the purpose of acquainting the new employees with the benefits and duties of Union membership and the employee's responsibilities and obligations to the Employer and the Union. To facilitate this process the Employer agrees to provide a list of new hires on a monthly basis.
