Employer Grievance - Where the Employer alleges that the Union has violated the Collective Agreement, it may submit a grievance in writing to the Union President within ten (10) working days from the time the incident occurred giving rise to the grievance (or the time that the Employer was or could reasonably be expected to have known of such event). The Union President shall declare his decision in writing within five (5) working days after receipt of the grievance. Failing settlement, the grievance may be referred to arbitration within fifteen (15) working days after receipt of the Union's reply.

  • Employer Grievance The Employer may institute a grievance by delivering the same in writing to the President of the Local Union and the President shall answer such grievance in writing within five working (5) days. This section shall not apply to disciplinary grievances or application of competitive clauses under this Agreement.

  • Continuity of Grievance Notwithstanding the expiration of this Agreement, any claim or grievance arising hereunder may be processed through the grievance procedure until resolution.
