Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Payment for Unused Sick Leave a. An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.
