Employment of Attorney. The School Board appoints and employs the Attorney as a full-time employee as the Attorney for The School Board of Clay County, Florida. The Attorney shall devote his full professional time exclusively to the obligations herein and shall not accept any other employment or legal representation absent prior written consent of the School Board.
Employment of Attorney. The Client hereby employs and retains the Firm as its attorneys for the performance of the following described legal services for and during a period commencing on the date of this Agreement and ending as hereinafter provided.
Employment of Attorney. COUNTY hereby hires ATTORNEY as its legal counsel with respect to supervisorial redistricting issues and such related matters referred to ATTORNEY. ATTORNEY shall provide legal services as reasonably required to represent COUNTY in such matters, take reasonable steps to keep COUNTY informed of significant developments and respond to COUNTY’s inquiries regarding those matters. COUNTY hereby hires ATTORNEY as an independent contractor through the services of the following key person(s): Xxxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx, Attorney At Law, a partner of ATTORNEY and such other partners in, and associate attorneys and staff members employed by said firm, as ATTORNEY deems necessary, and which the County Counsel, or his designee, approves pursuant to paragraph 3 of this Agreement subject to the foregoing. It is understood that ATTORNEY may not replace any of the aforementioned key persons named above without the prior, express and written approval of the County Counsel, or his designee. In case of death, illness or other incapacity of any of the foregoing key persons, ATTORNEY shall provide a replacement of at least equal professional ability and experience as the key person replaced.

Employment of Attorney. The Client hereby employs the Attorney to perform the Services and the Attorney hereby accepts that employment subject to the provision of this Agreement. Portions of the work in performance of the Services may be performed by different lawyers and legal assistants in the Attorney’s law firm. This delegation of work will be for the purpose of involving lawyers or legal assistants with special expertise in a given area, or for the purpose of providing the Client with the Services in the most efficient and timely manner. The Attorney is not obligated to perform any portion of the Services that, in the Attorney’s judgment, would constitute a conflict of interest or other violation of the Attorney’s ethical duties under the Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of California or similar mandate governing the Attorney’s conduct. This Agreement governs only the Client’s employment of the Attorney and the Attorney’s representation of the Client. The Attorney’s representation of the Client does not include representation of any party affiliated with Client, including (a) parent, related or subsidiary entities of the Client, or (b) persons related to the Client. This Agreement will become effective upon its full execution by both the Attorney and the Client. It will then relate back to the first day that the Attorney provided the Services to the Client.
Employment of Attorney. 2.1 The County does hereby engage, retain and contract with Attorney to provide legal services as special counsel to the Assessor and/or the County, as the case may require, to advise and represent the Assessor in the Appeals before the Board or the State Board of Equalization and any resulting or related litigation; to advise and represent the Assessor and/or the County in any appeal therefrom or any action, proceeding, hearing or litigation related thereto; and, to advise and represent the Assessor and/or the County in such other matters as the Assessor and/or the County may deem necessary or advisable.
