Other Employment definition

Other Employment means work of a Temporary or Casual nature that may be made available by the Municipality to Laid-off Employees and does not constitute a recall as herein defined, nor does it qualify a Laid-off Employee for seniority accumulation.
Other Employment. The term “Other Employment” means employment with any person, firm, company, corporation, government agency, municipality or Self-Employment, and does not include employment as an Active Member of the Bureau of Fire or Bureau of Police, or work performed as part of an approved Transitional Duty Return to Work Program in accordance with Administrative Rule 5.10.03.
Other Employment means employment on a more than half-time basis. For these purposes, any service as an “employee” within the meaning of M.G.L. c. 149, § 148B shall be considered to be “employment.”
