Should a deficiency in representation from any one sector or section of the community be identified, however, the Board may use its co-option powers to address this as set out in 4.5.1.

Ensuring equality. 8.1 A whole-College approach is required to promote equality of opportunity. Where a service or function is contracted out to a third party, the College retains responsibility for meeting the public sector equality duty in relation to that service or function. The College should therefore ensure that adherence to the ethos of this joint agreement on guidance features as part of the procurement process in order that contractors comply with standards for the College as prescribed in this document. Further guidance on procurement and the public sector equality duty is available from the EHRC.

  • Appropriate Safeguards BA shall implement appropriate safeguards to prevent the use or disclosure of Protected Information other than as permitted by the Contract or Addendum, including, but not limited to, administrative, physical and technical safeguards in accordance with the Security Rule, including, but not limited to, 45 C.F.R. Sections 164.308, 164.310, and 164.312. [45 C.F.R. Section 164.504(e)(2)(ii)(B); 45 C.F.R. Section 164.308(b)].   • Service Level Expectations Without limiting any other requirements of the Agreement, the Service Provider shall meet or exceed the following standards, policies, and guidelines:

  • Performance Levels (a) The Performance Levels which apply to the performance by the respective Parties of their obligations under this Agreement are set out in Part 1 of Schedule 5. A failure by either Party to achieve the relevant Performance Level will not constitute a breach of this Agreement and the only consequences of such failure as between the Parties shall be the consequences set out in this Clause 5.6.

  • Technical Safeguards 1. USAC and the Department will process the data matched and any data created by the match under the immediate supervision and control of authorized personnel to protect the confidentiality of the data, so unauthorized persons cannot retrieve any data by computer, remote terminal, or other means.

  • BUSINESS ETHICS EXPECTATION 13.1 During the course of pursuing contracts with Owner and while performing contract work in accordance with this Agreement, Architect/Engineer agrees to maintain business ethics standards aimed at avoiding any impropriety or conflict of interest which could be construed to have an adverse impact on the Owner’s best interests.

  • SPECIALIZED SERVICE REQUIREMENTS In the event that the Participating Entity requires service or specialized performance requirements not addressed in this Contract (such as e- commerce specifications, specialized delivery requirements, or other specifications and requirements), the Participating Entity and the Supplier may enter into a separate, standalone agreement, apart from this Contract. Sourcewell, including its agents and employees, will not be made a party to a claim for breach of such agreement.

  • Staffing Levels To the extent legislative appropriations and PIN authorizations allow, safe staffing levels will be maintained in all institutions where employees have patient, client, inmate or student care responsibilities. In July of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of each agency will, upon request, meet with the Union, to hear the employees’ views regarding staffing levels. In August of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of Budget and Management will, upon request, meet with the Union to hear the employees’ views regarding the Governor’s budget request.

  • Performance Expectations The Charter School’s performance in relation to the indicators, measures, metrics and targets set forth in the CPF shall provide the basis upon which the SCSC will decide whether to renew the Charter School’s Charter Contract at the end of the charter term. This section shall not preclude the SCSC from considering other relevant factors in making renewal decisions.
