Common use of Ethno-Cultural and Religious Leave Clause in Contracts

Ethno-Cultural and Religious Leave. Where established ethno-cultural or religious practices provide for ceremonial occasions, the Employer may grant up to five (5) days leave without pay per calendar year. Such leave is to be requested in writing and shall give reasonable notice to the Employer considering all the circumstances of the leave. Leave applications shall not be unreasonably withheld.
