EVALUATION INTRODUCTION. Evaluation is a decision made by comparing observation data to established standard. This comparison reflects the extent to which employees meet performance expectations and is used to make employment decisions. Each year, the principal or supervising administrator designated by the principal must observe teachers regardless of their contract status. The purpose of the performance data collection is to formulate an annual evaluation decision that is recorded on the Summative Performance Evaluation form. Evaluation is a statutory responsibility of the principal. The M-DCPS Instructional Performance Evaluation and Growth System (IPEGS) provides a balance between structure and flexibility. IPEGS defines expectations, guides effective practices and focuses on student learning growth; thereby allowing for individual initiative. The goal is to support the continuous growth and development of each professional by monitoring, analyzing, and applying pertinent data compiled within a system of meaningful feedback. Employees are entitled to an evaluation which is fair, equitable, and impartial. The parties agree to the continuation of a developmental approach to improving teaching and learning, using the Instructional Performance Evaluation and Growth System (IPEGS). In accordance with Florida Statutes, no disciplinary action shall be taken based on incompetence in the absence of documentation and procedures required by the IPEGS. Documents and procedures pertaining to evaluation are hereby incorporated and made a part of this Contract, and there shall be no unilateral changes. Required procedures and standards for evaluation are specified in the IPEGS Procedural Handbook.

  • Evaluation Process A. The immediate supervisor will meet with an employee at the start of the employee’s probationary, trial services, transition, and annual review period to discuss performance expectations. The employee will receive copies of their performance expectations as well as notification of any modifications made during the review period. Employee work performance will be evaluated during probationary, trial service and transition review periods and at least annually thereafter. Notification will be given to a probationary or trial service employee whose work performance is determined to be unsatisfactory.

  • Evaluation Use In the event that the Software is licensed only for Evaluation Use, the terms of this paragraph shall apply. Your license to use the Software commences on installation of the Software and, unless You and NetIQ agree to a different period, will terminate after a period of 30 days (the “Evaluation Period”). You may use the Software for an unlimited number of users and servers during the Evaluation Period. At the end of the Evaluation Period, Your license to use the Evaluation version of the Software is automatically terminated. You may not extend the time limits of the Software in any manner. At the end of the Evaluation Period You agree to de-install the Software and if required by NetIQ, return all copies or partial copies of the Software or certify to NetIQ that all copies or partial copies of the Software have been deleted from Your computer libraries and/or storage devices and have been destroyed. If You desire to continue Your use of the Software beyond the Evaluation Period, You must contact NetIQ to acquire a license to the Software for the applicable fee. EVALUATION SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS OF TITLE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

  • Program Evaluation The School District and the College will develop a plan for the evaluation of the Dual Credit program to be completed each year. The evaluation will include, but is not limited to, disaggregated attendance and retention rates, GPA of high-school-credit-only courses and college courses, satisfactory progress in college courses, state assessment results, SAT/ACT, as applicable, TSIA readiness by grade level, and adequate progress toward the college-readiness of the students in the program. The School District commits to collecting longitudinal data as specified by the College, and making data and performance outcomes available to the College upon request. HB 1638 and SACSCOC require the collection of data points to be longitudinally captured by the School District, in collaboration with the College, will include, at minimum: student enrollment, GPA, retention, persistence, completion, transfer and scholarships. School District will provide parent contact and demographic information to the College upon request for targeted marketing of degree completion or workforce development information to parents of Students. School District agrees to obtain valid FERPA releases drafted to support the supply of such data if deemed required by counsel to either School District or the College. The College conducts and reports regular and ongoing evaluations of the Dual Credit program effectiveness and uses the results for continuous improvement.

  • Evaluation Procedure The procedural requirements set forth in this agreement to provide specificity to the statutory obligations established under sections 3319.111 and 3319.112 of the Ohio Revised Code and to conform to the framework for the evaluation of teachers developed under section 3319.112 of the Ohio Revised Code.

  • Evaluation Report 20.5.4.1 The summary evaluation report shall be prepared by the Faculty Evaluation Committee and administrative evaluator(s) and shall include each evaluator’s individual rating. The summary evaluation report shall take into account the results of each of the evaluation components (Section 20.5.3) in order to arrive at an overall rating. When the committee and the administrative evaluator(s) cannot reach an agreement as to the overall rating, the report must include written explanation.

  • Evaluation of Teaching 1. All reports on a teacher shall be in writing.

  • Evaluations Formal written performance evaluations of each employee shall be carried out during the probationary period and not less than annually thereafter.
