Examination Time. Employees in regular positions shall be entitled to a reasonable amount of leave with pay for the purpose of applying for and taking District promotional examinations. Employees are responsible for notifying and obtaining approval from their immediate supervisor prior to taking such leave. Examination time shall not be charged against accumulated leave balances and shall be compensated at the employee’s base hourly rate of pay.
