Excess Travelling Costs. Where an employee is required by Cheap as Chips to move temporarily from one store to another store which is further from their home for a period not exceeding three weeks, all additional transport costs so incurred will be reimbursed by Xxxxx as Chips.

Additional travel is defined as the extra distance between the employee’s home store and the store that they have temporarily been transferred to.

An employee will be entitled to reimbursement of excess fares and other reasonable travel costs while performing duty temporarily at a place other than the employee's usual place of work. Where travel by private motor vehicle is the most appropriate method of travel to either the usual or temporary place of work, the motor vehicle allowance rates in clause 34 will be used to calculate excess costs.
