Common use of Existing Employees Clause in Contracts

Existing Employees. Existing employees who are covered by the Coverage Clause of this agreement may become Union members at any time. Employees shall, from the date of joining APEX, be bound by all benefits and obligations relating to employees under this agreement subject to meeting the requirements of the Employment Relations Act 2000 regarding when a collective agreement will apply to an employee who was/is a member of another union.

Existing Employees. Existing employees who are covered by the Coverage Clause of this agreement Agreement may become Union members at any time. Employees shall, from the date of joining APEXadvising the employer that they are an APEX member, be bound by all benefits and obligations relating to employees under this agreement subject to meeting the requirements of the Employment Relations Act 2000 Xxx 0000 regarding when a collective agreement will apply to an employee who was/is a member of another union. The terms of this collective agreement cannot be passed on to any existing employee who is not an APEX member.
