Expedited Cleanup. ExxonMobil is streamlining the cleanup process by implementing a series of removal ac- tions and obtaining stakeholder input upfront. (4) Paperwork Reduction. Draft copies of reports re- quired under the engineering evaluation/cost as- sessment (EE/CA), conducted under the removal process, will be electronically transmitted. Final reports will be distributed on compact disk, and analytical data made available to EPA and WVDEP, through the testing laboratory’s data management system. (5) PRP to Fund State Participation in the XL Process. Direct funding will reduce the state’s financial and administrative burden and in- crease its ability to participate in Project XL. (6) Recycling Non-hazardous Waste. ExxonMobil has access to an innovative technology that is able to render coal waste non-hazardous. This innovative process would enable much of the on-site waste to be beneficially reused as fuel in a power plant. 81

  • Remediation Plan If deficiencies or weaknesses are cited on the evaluation form, the evaluator, working with the evaluatee, shall develop a written remediation plan for the purpose of assisting the evaluatee to improve. The remedial action plan shall be attached to the evaluation document and shall contain:

  • Environmental Health and Safety i. Environment, Health and Safety Performance. Seller acknowledges and accepts full and sole responsibility to maintain an environment, health and safety management system ("EMS") appropriate for its business throughout the performance of this Contract. Buyer expects that Seller’s EMS shall promote health and safety, environmental stewardship, and pollution prevention by appropriate source reduction strategies.   • Cleanup Awarded vendor shall clean up and remove all debris and rubbish resulting from their work as required or directed by TIPS Member. Upon completion of work, the premises shall be left in good repair and an orderly, neat, clean and unobstructed condition.

  • Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union recognize the role of the joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee in promoting a safe and healthful workplace. The parties agree that a Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee shall be established for each Employer covered by this Collective Agreement. The Committee shall govern itself in accordance with the provisions of the Industrial Health and Safety Regulations made pursuant to the Workers’ Compensation Act. The Committee shall be as between the Employer and the Union, with equal representation, and with each party appointing its own representatives. Representatives of the Union shall be chosen by the Union membership or appointed by the Union. All minutes of the meetings of the Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee will be recorded in a mutually agreeable format and will be sent to the Union. The Union further agrees to actively pursue with the other Health Care Unions a Joint Union Committee for the purposes of this Article. The Employer agrees to provide or cause to be provided to Employer members of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee adequate training and orientation to the duties and responsibilities of committee members to allow the incumbents to fulfil those duties competently. Such training and orientation shall take place within six (6) months of taking office.

  • Environmental Safety Upon encountering any previously unknown potentially hazardous material, or other materials potentially contaminated by hazardous material, Contractor shall immediately stop work activities impacted by the discovery, secure the affected area, and notify the ODR immediately.

  • Health and Safety Committees A. The parties agree that Joint Union/Management Health and Safety Committees are appropriate. At the Union's request, each department shall establish at least one Joint Union/Management Health and Safety Committee.

  • Health and Safety Representative Meetings 13.1 A health and safety representative will be allowed reasonable paid time during working hours to attend occupational health and safety matters, including meetings affecting employees they represent, providing that the Representative informs their manager.
