Failure to Notify of Unplanned Absence. Employees must notify their immediate supervisor or their manager when they are unable to attend their regularly scheduled shift. Where circumstances are beyond the employee’s control and he/she is unable to notify their immediate supervisor or manager in advance, such notice will be provided of the unexpected absence as soon as circumstances permit.
