Family Medical Leave Family Medical Leave Act. To be eligible for leave under Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), a bargaining unit member must have been employed by the College for at least 12 months and must have worked at least 1250 hours over the previous 12 month period. SFCC’s policy and procedures for leave under the FMLA will be in accordance with SFCC Policy.
