FILLING OF VACANCIES IN THE BARGAINING UNIT. 16.01 A notice of vacancy in the bargaining unit shall be dated and shall include a statement of duties, position title, salary range for the position, anticipated effective date, closing date of application and all qualifications for said position as determined by the President of the College or designee and shall indicate the unit status of the position. All notices of said vacancies shall be posted on bulletin boards customarily used to notify unit members. In addition, the Employer shall administer Article XVI in a manner consistent with Article VIII and the Employer’s Affirmative Action Policy. Copies of all unit vacancies as described above shall be forwarded to the President of the Association or designee and the local Chapter President as provided in Article 2.06.
