Common use of FILM ASSIGNMENTS Clause in Contracts

FILM ASSIGNMENTS. It is agreed that the Company is not presently assigning any of its staff Promotion Writer/Producers to write material for film television programs. The Company agrees to notify the Union promptly of its decision to make any such assignment, and to commence bargaining with the Union, if the Union so requests, within ten (10) days after receipt of notice of such request from the Union. The Company agrees to continue to meet with the Union and to bargain in good faith with respect thereto. If no agreement is reached with respect to such assignments within sixty (60) days after the Company notifies the Union of its decision to make any such assignment, the Company agrees that it will discontinue such assignments, if made, and that it will not thereafter assign or hire any staff Promotion Writer/Producers to write material for film television programs during the term of this Agreement unless and until an agreement is reached between the Company and the Union with respect to such assignments.
