Final Decision with Select Board. If the decision of the Personnel Appeals Board is found to be unsatisfactory, or if no decision has been rendered during the time period specified above, either party may within fourteen (14) days request that the matter be sent to the Select Board. The Select Board shall not be required to conduct a rehearing and shall in no case accept new evidence, documentation or testimony of any form. The parties shall, however, be allowed to submit briefs to the Select Board on issues raised in the grievance proceedings and may also present oral argument within limitations established by the Board. The Select Board shall not be required to conduct a rehearing and shall in no case accept new evidence, documentation or testimony of any form. The parties shall, however, be allowed to submit briefs to the Select Board on issues raised in the grievance proceedings and may also present oral argument within limitations established by the Board. The Board shall conduct its first meeting dealing with the return of the appeal within fifteenfifteen (15) calendar days from the date of its receipt and shall render its decision in writing within fifteen (15) days from the close of any final meeting on the matter and such decisions shall be final and not subject to further appeal or redetermination.
