Common use of Firewood Clause in Contracts

Firewood. A. Firewood must be of all natural wood and non-treated. Any forms of wood that are non-natural or have been treated are not acceptable, including but not limited to presto-style logs, pressure-treated wood, treated-power poles, milled lumber, planed wood, and manufacture wood. B. Firewood must be fully seasoned or kiln dried, with a moisture content of less than 20%, verifiable by end grain testing with a digital moisture meter of OPRD’s choice. C. Firewood must be free of rot and mold.
