Common use of First Aid Premium Clause in Contracts

First Aid Premium. Employees who are required by the Employer to perform first aid duties in addition to their normal duties and who hold a valid Workers’ Compensation Board Occupational Health and Safety First Aid Certificate shall be paid a premium in accordance with the certificate required by the Employer as follows: OFA Level II Eighty cents ($0.80) per hour on all hours worked OFA Level III Ninety-five cents ($0.95) per hour on all hours worked The Employer will pay course fees for the OFA Level II and/or Level III course for Employees who are required to have such certification.

First Aid Premium. Employees who are designated as first aid attendants and who are required by the Employer to perform first aid duties in addition to their normal duties and who hold a valid Workers’ Worker’s Compensation Board Occupational Health and Safety First Aid Certificate shall be paid a premium in accordance with the certificate required by the Employer as follows: Regular Part‐Time & OFA Level II Eighty cents (Full‐Time Employees $0.80) 125 per month Auxiliary Employees 80¢ per hour on all hours worked OFA Level III Ninety-five cents ($0.95) per hour on all hours worked The Employer will pay course fees for the OFA Level II and/or Level III course for Employees employees who are required to have such certification.
