First Meeting and Good Faith Negotiations. Where notice to bargain collectively has been given, representatives of the Employer and representatives of the Institute shall, without delay, but in any case within twenty (20) calendar days after the notice was given or within such further time as the parties may agree, meet and commence to bargain collectively in good faith and make every reasonable effort to conclude a Collective Agreement.

  • Contract Negotiations Meetings Where operational requirements permit, the Employer will grant leave without pay to an employee for the purpose of attending contract negotiations meetings on behalf of the Institute.

  • Good Faith Negotiation The Parties shall attempt in good faith to achieve consensus with respect to all matters arising under this Agreement and to use reasonable efforts through good faith discussion and negotiation to avoid and resolve disputes that could delay or impede a Party from receiving the benefits of this Agreement. These dispute resolution procedures apply to any dispute that arises from either Party’s performance of, or failure to perform, in compliance with this Agreement and which the Parties are unable to resolve prior to invocation of these procedures.

  • Negotiations Committee H.3 At all negotiations meetings with the Employer representatives for a renewal of this Agreement, the Union may be represented by a negotiations committee composed of five (5) bargaining unit members. No deduction from the regular pay of such Employees will be made for attendance at such meetings with the Employer’s representatives held during the Employee's regular working hours. The Union has the right to have up to an additional five (5) members, including Union Officers, on the Negotiating Committee at no cost to the Employer.
