Fitness Test. The fitness test will be the same as administered for new patrol hires. In three (3) minutes or less, it will consist of dragging a one hundred and eighty-five pounds (185 lbs.) testing mannequin 30 feet on the Black River Coliseum (BRC) floor, ascend the stairs, complete one (1) lap around the BRC running track, and descend the stairs to the BRC gym where he/she will be required to complete one (1) fifty pound (50 lbs.) lat. pull down. The test will be a Pass/Fail. A pass is required to move on to the Interview phase.

Fitness Test. Officers shall participate in the Police Department’s annual (1) Power Test and (2) physical fitness test which shall be designed with input from the Chapter, provided the final form of the test shall be determined by the Chief and will be job specific. In lieu of the required fitness test (2) of this section, members may participate in the Village’s annual wellness screening. Participation in these tests shall be considered “on-duty” time for all compensation purposes, including but not limited to overtime and workers’ compensation. Test results of officers will not be utilized for disciplinary purposes. Officers who pass the Power Test shall receive1.5 hours of compensatory time for each of the four categories of the Power Test passed, not to exceed 6 total hours

In lieu of the required fitness test (2) of this section, sergeants may participate in the Village’s annual wellness screening. Participation in the physical fitness test shall be considered “on-duty” time for all compensation purposes, including but not limited to overtime and workers’ compensation. Test results of Sergeants who make good faith efforts while participating will not be utilized for disciplinary purposes. Sergeants who pass the Power test shall receive 1.5 hours of compensatory time for each of the four categories of the Power Test passed, not to exceed 6 total hours.

  • Drug Test The compulsory production and submission of urine and/or blood, in accordance with departmental procedures, by an employee for chemical analysis to detect prohibited drug usage.

  • Laboratory Testing All laboratories selected by UPS Freight for analyzing Controlled Substances Testing will be HHS certified.

  • Alcohol Testing Alcohol testing will be conducted by using an evidential breath testing device (EBT) approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Non-EBT devices may be used for initial screening tests. A screening test will be conducted first. If the result is an alcohol concentration level of less than 0.02, the test is considered a negative test. If the alcohol concentration level is 0.02 or more, a second confirmation test will be conducted. Levels of .04 or greater on the confirmation test will be considered positive.

  • Drug Testing (A) The state and the PBA agree to drug testing of employees in accordance with section 112.0455, F.S., the Drug-Free Workplace Act.

  • Health Tests At the time of employment, the Employer shall provide a Tuberculin skin test at no cost to the nurse. In the event of a positive reaction to this test, the Employer will provide a chest x-ray at no cost. Upon request, a routine blood examination and urinalysis will be provided at no cost to the nurse once each year.

  • Repair Testing At the time of repair of a LIS trunk group, at no additional charge, tests will be performed to ensure that the service is operational and meets the applicable technical parameters.

  • ODUF Testing 6.6.1 Upon request from TWTC, AT&T shall send ODUF test files to TWTC. The Parties agree to review and discuss the ODUF file content and/or format. For testing of usage results, AT&T shall request that TWTC set up a production (live) file. The live test may consist of TWTC’s employees making test calls for the types of services TWTC requests on ODUF. These test calls are logged by TWTC, and the logs are provided to AT&T. These logs will be used to verify the files. Testing will be completed within thirty (30) days from the date on which the initial test file was sent.

  • WELDING TESTS 31.1 On hire welders must possess the qualifications and class of welding ticket specified by the Employer. It will be at the Employer's discretion whether a welder who does not possess the qualifications and class of welding ticket specified will be hired.

  • Substance Abuse Testing The Parties agree that it is in the best interest of all concerned to promote a safe working environment. The Union has no objection to pre-employment substance abuse testing when required by the Employer and further, the Union has no objection to voluntary substance abuse testing to qualify for employment on projects when required by a project owner. The cost and scheduling of such testing shall be paid for and arranged by the Employer. The Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for any failed pre-access Alcohol and Drug test costs.

  • Random Testing Notwithstanding any provisions of the Collective Agreement or any special agreements appended thereto, section 4.6 of the Canadian Model will not be applied by agreement. If applied to a worker dispatched by the Union, it will be applied or deemed to be applied unilaterally by the Employer. The Union retains the right to grieve the legality of any imposition of random testing in accordance with the Grievance Procedure set out in this Collective Agreement.
