Floor Care. The use of floor care products other than those specifically recommended by Appalachian Flooring is prohibited as it may damage your floor or leave a residue or haze and will void the Warranty. Check our Care and Maintenance guide for a list of approved products. Radiant Heat Lifetime Structural Warranty Solid hardwood flooring of any species as well as hickory or exotic engineered floors should never be installed over a radiant-heated floor and will not be covered by the warranty if so installed. All other Appalachian Engineered Floors can be installed over radiant heating according to approved installation methods in the Appalachian Flooring Engineered Installation Manual and relevant NWFA guidelines.

Floor Care. Carpet 1.1. Carpets shall be maintained in such a manner as to promote longevity and shall be left in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. Upon completion of routine work, carpet shall be free of debris, soil, and dust and shall present a uniform and bright appearance when dry. 1.2. After vacuuming and cleaning, mats or xxxxxx shall be free of all visible lint, litter, and soil. Carpet style entrance mats shall be vacuumed to remove soil and dirt and to restore resiliency of the carpet pile. Rubber or polyester entrance mats shall be swept, vacuumed, extracted, or hosed down, and then dried to remove soil and grit. 1.3. Contractor shall be responsible for moving and replacing all furniture, seating, waste receptacles, and non-stationary objects in the areas for cleaning to ensure the entire floor surface is cleaned. Carpet odors shall be removed, and carpet shall be left smelling fresh and clean. 1.4. Deep extraction of carpets shall be performed when required by Purchaser to remove embedded dirt and grime, to lift carpet pile, and to return carpets to a clean, bright and uniform appearance. Extraction may include spot cleaning, pile lifting, vacuuming, operation of the extraction equipment, and grooming of all carpet in an area. 1.5. Stained areas shall be treated with spot cleaning solutions following the manufacturer's recommendations. The spot cleaning process shall be performed until as much of the stain as possible has been removed. Pile lifting shall be done before the extraction process.
Floor Care. The floors of most of the Kitsap County Fairgrounds and Events Center facilities range from sealed concrete, tile, or carpet. Precautions must be exercised by LICENSEE and exhibitors to protect all floor surfaces:
Floor Care. All lessees on the airport shall keep the floors of the hangars, hangar areas and terminal apron and ramp areas, leased by them exclusively, or used in their operations, clean and clear of oil, grease and other materials or stains except as may be provided to the contrary in any specific leases or contracts.
Floor Care. Carpeted floors and rugs will be vacuumed nightly. Hard floors (including ceramic tile, stone, terrazzo, wood and the like) and resilient flooring (linoleum, rubber and asphalt tile) will be swept nightly. As often as necessary to maintain a clean appearance, the cleaning contractor will: • Dust all chair rails, trims and baseboards within reach. • Clean all metal and remove finger marks. Certain procedures (“High Dusting”) will be performed quarterly: • Dust all pictures frames, charts, and similar wall hangings not reached in nightly cleaning. • Dust all vertical surfaces, such as walls, partitions, doors and bucks and other surfaces not reached in nightly cleaning. • Dust all pipes, ventilating, heating and air conditioning louvers, grates, grills, ducts, high moldings and all other high areas not reached in nightly cleaning. • Dust all exterior surfaces of lighting fixtures including bulbs, glass, lenses and plastic or metal enclosures. • Dust and inspect all venetian blinds.

Floor Care. In most cases, dusting will be all that is necessary to care for your flooring. Spills may be blotted up with a damp cloth or sponge. It is important not to soak your flooring with soap and water, as this type of treatment will damage the finish.

Floor Care. Owner requires shoes that are used strictly for gym floor use and are not worn outside of the gym. Owner does not allow any items that may scratch or damage floor. (Toys, Boots, etc.)
Floor Care. Serve on one or more staff teams. These teams will be responsible for, but not limited to, stripping and waxing of tiled floors, deep cleaning of carpets and soft furniture in the apartments, residence hall rooms, and common areas, etc.
