Common use of Food Services Shift Bid Clause in Contracts

Food Services Shift Bid. Food Service Coordinators who have completed trial service may bid shifts in order of seniority. For the purposes of this Letter of Agreement, seniority is defined as agency time in class as a Food Service Coordinator. If two (2) or more employees have the same time in class, seniority shall then be determined by alphabetical order of the last name. Management will assign work assignments and days off. Shift Rotations will occur the first Sunday of January, May and September. Each rotation will have ten (10) work assignments with at least one (1) weekend day off, such as Friday/Saturday, Saturday/Sunday, or Sunday/Monday.
