Physical Plant. The Board of Supervisors agrees to provide, subject to the budgetary and fiscal provisions of the Charter, the following physical equipment and work environment for users of video display equipment:

(1) Where necessary, effective glare screens shall be affixed to the front of such machines;
(2) Adjustable chairs, footrests and tables shall be provided to allow for adjustment of individual machines to provide each operator with optimum comfort and the minimum amount of physical stress;
(3) Optimal lighting conditions adapted to accommodate the types of equipment in use at each work site shall be provided;
(4) Prior to the acquisition of additional or re-placement machines, the City agrees to meet and consult with the Union on the design of the machines, including such features as separate keyboards, tiltable screens, phosphor colors, brightness controls and any other features relating to operator health and well being. The City will give the Union as much advance notice as possible of such changes.
Physical Plant. The Organizer shall amend its Application to describe the physical plant where the Charter School will be located, and the facilities that will be constructed, reconstructed, altered, or renovated as part of the physical plant. Before this Prior Action shall be deemed substantially completed, the Charter Schools Director shall have the opportunity to review and approve the proposed location of the physical plant and the facilities that shall be a part thereof. The Organizer shall (a) acquire, through purchase, lease or otherwise, the location of its proposed physical plant and submit such documentation to the Charter Schools Director no later than March 30; (b) submit documentation to the Charter Schools Director no later than June 1 that the Organizer is taking the necessary steps to ensure all inspections, including but not limited to inspections by the State Department of Health, the Xxxxxx County Health Department, the State Fire Xxxxxxxx, Indianapolis Fire Department and the City Building Inspector, are completed in a timely manner prior to opening; (c) obtain all required zoning, land use or other building related permits for its proposed physical plant and submit such documentation to the Charter Schools Director no later than June 1; (d) successfully complete all inspections no later than July 15 and submit such documentation to the Charter Schools Director within one (1) week of this date; and (e) obtain the Charter Schools Director's written approval of its proposed physical plant no later than thirty (30) days prior to the proposed commencement of the Charter School's first school year.

The Department agrees to provide the following physical equipment and work environment for users of VDTs: (a) when requested by the employee, effective glare screens shall be affixed to the front of such machines; (b) adjustable chairs, footrests and tables to allow for adjustment of individual machines; (c) optimal lighting conditions adapted to accommodate the types of equipment in use at each work site; and, (d) prior to the acquisition of additional or replacement VDTs, the Department agrees to meet and consult with the Union about such equipment.

Physical Plant. When management determines that there is a need for overtime work, overtime hours will be offered to FMS employees on a rotating basis based on seniority which is defined as Agency time in classification. Management will offer overtime work to the most senior employee on the list first. If this employee turns down the overtime opportunity, management will put that employees name at the bottom of the list and the person who is next on the list will be called. Ties in seniority will be determined by a double blind lottery system as described in Article 44, Section 3d.
Physical Plant. The workday will include two (2) fifteen (15)-minute rest periods. Rest periods preferably will occur between the second and third hours and the fifth and sixth hours of the employee’s shift. The meal period shall be scheduled for each employee at approximately the mid period of the workday as work permits.

Physical Plant. Xxxx Xxxxx shall ensure that access to and from the Xxxx Xxxxx compound is through secure, staffed checkpoints only. Specifically, Xxxx Xxxxx shall conduct regular monitoring of the perimeters of the Xxxx Xxxxx grounds with the goal of preventing entry by persons or contraband outside of the secure checkpoints.
Physical Plant. The physical plant must create an environment that supports the principles of supportive day services and promotes the safety of each participant and staff. Programs may be housed in hospitals, nursing facilities, senior centers, councils on aging, or other community centers. The facility shall be designed, constructed, and maintained in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, codes or ordinances. The facility shall also comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. If a program is co-located in a facility housing other services, the program shall have its own separate identifiable space for main activity areas during operational hours. The facility shall provide at least 50 square feet of program space for multipurpose use for each participant. There shall be an identified separate space available for participants and/or family/caregivers to have private discussions with staff. There shall be storage space for program and operating supplies. The facility shall include at least one toilet for every ten (10) participants and shall be located as near the activity area as possible. The facility shall have a rest area for participants. Outside space that is used for outdoor activities shall be safe, accessible to indoor areas, and accessible to those with a disability.
