FOR NON-SAFETY EMPLOYEES. Employees shall be eligible to participate in the Alameda County Voluntary Vision Plan. The premium cost shall be paid by the employee. Employees shall also be eligible for the Vision Reimbursement Plan subject to the following criteria: The employee is eligible for reimbursement after six (6) months of continuous employment working at least fifty percent (50%) of the normal full-time pay period for the job classification. The employee shall be reimbursed for the cost of either lens and frames or contact lenses specifically prescribed for the employee only, up to a maximum reimbursement of two- hundred dollars ($200) in each subsequent twenty-four (24) month period. Reimbursement will be made subject to applicable procedures and requirements.
