Formal Step (Written Grievance filed by the Union. The Union and Management will designate representatives to be members of a local Joint Labor/Management Investigatory Committee (JLMIC) to establish the facts and participate in discovery of relevant information. • The Committee should consist of the Labor Relations Representative, the appropriate Manager, the Union Representative, and the Shop Xxxxxxx. • The JLMIC has the authority to resolve the issue(s). • A joint statement of facts and/or decision will be rendered within twenty-one (21) calendar days from the receipt of the written grievance. • If the grievance is not resolved at this step, the grievance may be appealed to the next step within fourteen (14) calendar days of the response.
