Founding Board Members Sample Clauses

Founding Board Members. Someone who has been a member of the Co-op before it has any housing units ready for occupancy has no right to a unit of housing unless they go through the ordinary unit allocation procedures of the Co-op. Anyone who was a member at the time the Co-op first obtained a unit of housing ready for occupancy will automatically cease to be a member of the Co-op three months after that date unless: a unit is allocated to them before the end of the three month period (whether or not the unit is ready for occupancy), or the person is still a director of the Co-op. In this case, membership will cease as soon as they are no longer a director. THE CO-OP EVICTS A MEMBER Article 9: The Co-op Evicts a Member
