Scheduled Days Off Except in cases of emergency, no employee will be required to return to his/her place of employment on his/her scheduled day off.
Pre-Paid Leave The Employer agrees to introduce a pre-paid leave program, funded solely by the employee, subject to the following terms and conditions:
Settlement Period (a) For recording time worked, there shall be a settlement period of four weeks.
Unpaid Time Off All accruals must be exhausted prior to taking unpaid time off (unless eligible for EIT access).
Callback Time 19849.1 Allows DPA to set rules and standards for callback time based on prevailing practices and the needs of State service.
Call Back Time Any employee called back to work after completion of his/her regular assignment shall be compensated for at least two (2) hours of work at the overtime rate, irrespective of the actual time worked.
Settlement Date For any Option, the second Business Day immediately following the final Valid Day of the Settlement Averaging Period for such Option.
Make-up Time (a) An employee may elect, with the consent of their employer, to work "make-up time", under which the employee takes time off ordinary hours, and works those hours at a later time, during the spread of ordinary hours provided in the Agreement at the ordinary rate of pay.
Posting Period Vacancies that the University intends to fill shall be posted for a period of seven (7) full working days before the deadline for applications for the position.
ELECTION DAYS Work and travel will be arranged to allow employees the opportunity to vote on their own time on recognized state and federal election days unless they are given sufficient notice to enable time to obtain an absentee ballot.
