Freight Mileage Trips. On freight mileage trips over one hundred fifty (150) road miles from the employee’s home terminal the mileage wage shall include checking equipment, making reports, driving, waiting for or making repairs to Company equipment, providing said repairs are not the result of known but un-repaired defects that existed before the trip began, waiting for "meets", delays not the fault of the Company or its customers, or purposely incurred by the Company or its customers other than reasonable meet time, chaining up and any other time spent incidental to operating. In the event of a prolonged delay, the Company shall pay for lodgings incurred. On all mileage trips the mileage wage shall include checking the equipment and making reports.
