FUNERAL GRANT. In the event an employee dies whilst in the service of the Company, the Company shall grant a lump sum payment of S$500.00 to the employee's family.

When an insured person, for which the legislation of one country is applied, following his departure from this country in order to move during his employment to another country and before he reaches the second country he suffers an employment injury, for the purposes of the benefit, the accident or occupational disease is considered to have occurred in the Republic Cyprus. The inverse applies for employed persons who work in the Republic of Cyprus and pay contributions to the Social Insurance Scheme of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
FUNERAL GRANT. (1) The Company shall pay to the next-of-kin S$4000, excluding whatever amount claimable under the Term Life Insurance (clause 27 of this Agreement), upon the death of an employee.

  • Parental Grant (a) The parental grant is payable to a principal on production of a birth certificate or evidence of an approved adoption placement. This entitlement is payable if the principal qualifies for primary carer leave (refer the Parental Leave and Employment Protection Act 1987) or resigns because of pregnancy or adoption, except as follows: the parental grant is not payable where a principal has not produced a medical certificate confirming pregnancy, or confirmation from the relevant government department of suitability as an adoptive parent, before commencing leave or resigning. No provision is made for payment of a parental grant in the case of a miscarriage.

  • Option to Purchase Subject to Section 3.5, the Receiver hereby grants to the Assuming Institution an exclusive option for the period of ninety (90) days commencing the day after Bank Closing to purchase any or all owned Bank Premises, including all Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment located on the Bank Premises.   • Life Insurance Upon Retirement 34.1 An employee who retires from the service of the Corporation subsequent to August 1, 2001, will, provided he is 55 years of age or over and has not less than 10 years' cumulative compensated service, be entitled to the sum of $8,000.00, payable to his estate upon his death.
