Common use of General Grievance Procedure Clause in Contracts

General Grievance Procedure. The parties to this Agreement agree that it is important to resolve complaints and grievances as quickly as possible. It is the intent that every effort will be made at each stage of the grievance procedure to resolve the grievance. Grievances must state the articles of the Collective Agreement it is alleged have been violated; and provide sufficient particulars so that the party receiving the grievance may understand the grievance, and adequately investigate same. The parties agree to provide each other, in a timely manner, with all of the relevant facts relating to the grievance.
