General Paid Holiday Falling During a Vacation Period. If a General Paid Holiday(s), as set out in Article 21, falls within an employee’s annual vacation period such employee shall be entitled to an additional day(s) of vacation with pay on what would have been the first day(s) the employee would have worked after their annual vacation or any other day, providing either is mutually agreed to in advance, by the Company and the employee.

  • Unbroken Vacation Period An Employee shall receive an unbroken period of vacation unless mutually agreed upon between the Employee and the Employer.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.

  • Holiday During Vacation If a holiday, named under Article 7 of this Agreement, falls within the vacation period of an employee, he shall be granted an additional day's pay in lieu of the holiday.
