General Rule Applicable to Definitions. The general practice in the foreign exchange markets is to document transactions under a master agreement such as the ISDA Master Agreement or an IFEMA, ICOM, FEOMA or IFXCO agreement and to provide that the terms of the 1998 FX and Currency Option Definitions, including any supplements (the “FX Definitions”) apply to those transactions. Accordingly, section 1 specifies that any capitalized term that is used in the Agreement without being separately defined in the Agreement will have the meaning set forth in the Master Agreement and Definitions.
