Global Safeguards Measures. 1. The Parties maintain their rights and obligations under Article XIX of GATT 1994 and the Agreement on Safeguards as defined in Article 6.9 (Definitions). 2. Measures adopted pursuant to Article XIX of GATT 1994 and the Agreement on Safeguards as defined in Article 6.9 (Definitions) shall not be subject to Chapter 13 (Dispute Settlement) of this Agreement.
