GOOD EMPLOYER PRACTICE / EQUAL. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES 1. Attention is drawn to s.77A of the State Xxxxxx Xxx 0000 which outlines the responsibilities of the employer with regard to the operation of a personnel policy that complies with the principles of being a good employer and the equal employment opportunity responsibilities of the employer. These responsibilities include: a. Good and safe working conditions; b. Equal employment opportunities; c. Recognition of the aims and aspirations and employment requirements of Māori people; d. Opportunities for the enhancement of the abilities of individual teachers; e. Recognition of the aims and aspirations and the cultural differences of ethnic or minority groups; f. Recognition of the employment requirements of women; and g. Recognition of the employment requirements of persons with disabilities.

  • FAIR EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES In the performance of this agreement, and in accordance with California Government Code §12900 et. seq., Auxiliary shall not deny employment opportunities to any person on the basis of race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, sexual orientation, military and veteran status. Auxiliary shall adopt employment procedures consistent with the policy statement on nondiscrimination and affirmative action in employment adopted by the CSU.

  • Employer Policies Employees shall be governed by written policies adopted by the Employer as publicized on bulletin boards, or by general distribution, provided such policies are not in conflict with the provisions of this Agreement.

  • Employer Union Relations No employee or group of employees shall undertake to represent the Union at meetings with the Employer without the proper authorization of the Union. To implement this, the Union shall supply the Employer with the names of its officers and similarly, the Employer shall supply the Union with a list of its supervisory or other personnel with whom the Union may be required to transact business.

  • Non-Discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity Provider represents and agrees that it does not and shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, religion, color, sex, or national origin.

  • Program Income Program income refers to gross income directly generated by a supporting activity during the period of performance. Unless otherwise required under the Grant Agreement, Grantee shall use Program Income, as provided in TxGMS, to further the Project, and Grantee shall spend the Program Income on the Project. Grantee shall identify and report Program Income in accordance with the Grant Agreement, applicable law, and any programmatic guidance. Grantee shall expend Program Income during the Grant Agreement term, when earned, and may not carry Program Income forward to any succeeding term. Grantee shall refund Program Income to the System Agency if the Program Income is not expended in the term in which it is earned. The System Agency may base future funding levels, in part, upon Xxxxxxx’s proficiency in identifying, billing, collecting, and reporting Program Income, and in using Program Income for the purposes and under the conditions specified in this Grant Agreement.
