Employer Union Relations. 7.1 Representation at Meetings with the Employer No employee or group of employees shall undertake to represent the Union at meetings with the Employer without the proper authorization of the Union. To implement this, the Union shall supply the Employer with the names of its officers and, similarly, the Employer shall supply the Union with a list of its supervisory or other personnel with whom the Union may be required to transact business.
Employer Union Relations. 6.01 The Employer will grant Union representatives access to its premises for a specific purpose provided prior approval has been obtained. When investigating a grievance for the purpose of meeting with the Grievor or his immediate supervisor, an appointment with the grieving Employee or his immediate supervisor will be obtained through the Chief Administrative Officer. The foregoing approval shall not be unreasonably denied.
Employer Union Relations. 7.01 The Employer and the Union agree that in the exercise of each of their rights and in the administration of this Agreement they shall do so in good faith and in a fair and reasonable manner.
Employer Union Relations. 7.0.1 The University and the MSA commit to the goal of a positive labour relations culture, recognizing that the University’s role is to manage in the best interests of the University community and MSA’s role is to represent the collective interests of the bargaining unit.
Employer Union Relations. 8.01 The Employer will grant Union Representatives access to its premises for a specific purpose provided prior approval has been obtained through the Human Resources Department. The foregoing approval shall not be unreasonably denied.
Employer Union Relations. 7.01 ESTABLISHMENT OF COMMITTEE A Labour Management Committee shall be established consisting of three (3) representatives of the Union and the same number representing the Employer. Both parties may appoint alternative members. This Committee shall enjoy the full support of both parties in the interests of improved service to the public, and job security for the employees.
Employer Union Relations. 22.01 The Employer and the Union, upon mutual agreement, will meet on a regular basis as provided in the Committee’s Terms of Reference, for the purpose of resolving difficulties and promoting harmonious relationships.
Employer Union Relations. 4.01 (a) Except for 4.01 (b), any communication required in the administration of this agreement shall be addressed to the President of the Union or the President of the Employer.
Employer Union Relations. 4.01 (a) The Employer agrees that access to its premises will be granted to members of the staff of the Union when dealing or negotiating with the Employer, as well as for the purpose of investigating and assisting in the settlement of a grievance. Members of the Union shall notify the designated supervisory official in advance of their intention and their purpose for entering and shall not interfere with the operation of the department or section concerned. They will be required to sign in upon arrival and be accompanied by a xxxxxxx. In order to facilitate the orderly, as well as the confidential investigation of grievances, the Employer where possible will make available to union representatives or stewards, temporary use of an office or similar facility. Discussions will not be carried on in the presence of clients.
Employer Union Relations. 7.01 All correspondence between the parties, arising out of this Collective Agreement or incidental thereto, shall pass to and from the Employer and the President of the Union.
